Title:
    LEVITATING FOIL
Description:
    Demonstrates the magnetic force on a current-carrying strip of aluminum.
Equipment:
    1. HBS power supply
    2. 2 B-B leads
    3. 5 U-shaped magnets
    4. Long strip of aluminum on board
Procedure:
    1. Set up as shown.
    2. Turn up the current momentarily to levitate the foil.
    3. Reverse the magnets or the leads to see the opposite effect.
    4. Arrange the poles of the magnets as desired to get different wave forms (in our picture we’ve placed 1 S poles forward and 3 with N poles forward and the final with S pole forward.
