Title:
    NON-MAGNETIC IRON
Description:
    Demonstrates the Curie point of iron.
Equipment:
    1. Magnetic wand w/ small magnet
    2. Tripod
    3. Wire mesh screen
    4. Binder clip
    5. Striker
    6. Bunsen burner


    CHECK FOR GAS AVAILABILITY
Procedure:
    1. Heat screen until red hot. (Figure 1)
    2. Quickly remove bunsen burner.
    3. Touch the magnetic wand to the hot screen. (Figure 2)
    4. When the screen is red hot, it won’t attract the wand. As it cools, the attraction becomes greater.
